Riggs' career began with contributions to short films and blog posts, but he gained widespread recognition with the publication of Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children in 2011. The series has been translated into multiple languages and adapted into a feature film directed by Tim Burton in 2016.
Beyond his novels, Riggs continues to work in film and television, blending his talents for storytelling and visual media. His distinctive approach to writing, characterized by integrating vintage photographs with imaginative prose, has earned him a dedicated readership and critical acclaim.
