Come browse. Relax in one of our comfy seats scattered about the shop. (You may have to remove a pile of books first.) Coffee and tea are complimentary. Conversation is optional-opinions are dispensed without bias.
Although we have rooms full of fiction, our interests lie in the non-fiction histories, military history, and biographies that even the local libraries do not carry. We run the gamut from English royalty to J. Edgar Hoover to George W. Bush. Our Revolutionary War, Civil War, WWI and WWII are quite interesting and educational. Presently we have a good smattering of history for young adults as well.
In the fiction areas we find a lot of people interested in "collecting" a certain author and/or filling in missing volumes in a series. We pride ourselves in offering our customers very clean, hardcover first editions, although we also have a growing area of paperbacks for the beach readers. We have easy access to lists of top authors' series books in the order in which they were published- a delightful little extra.
In addition to books, we also sell older, but new, unopened CDs-left over from a previous life- at reduced prices. Genres include classic Western, Celtic, Irish, Bagpipe, 50's and 60's Rock and Roll, and other assorted music CDs.
